The precursor of Tarmel AS is considered to be the workshop, founded on 27 of october 1925, Moritz Gontscharsky, where they repaired barrels.
 From that day onwards the names, the owners and even the state power have changed. Tarmel, as it excists today, was founded in 1990 on bases of a former Experimental complex Tarmel.
AS Tarmel’s producing subsidiary company – Tarmel Furniture OÜ – is specialized in producing springmattresses, couches and beds. From the list of our products every client will be able to find a suitable bed. We use the products of leading manufacturers in Europe and in addition to our experience, this allows us to offer a very competitive production. 80% of our products are being exported to Finland, Sweden, Netherlands and Latvia; 20% is being sold in Estonia in collaboration with our distributors.
The exclusive distributer store called “Säng & Sohva” is the mattress-seller with the biggest sale in Estonia.
